The issue from then was not resolved in the update from V2.0.1 > V2.1

I have a large database of library entries and the program crashes on start.

Hi Ta-Bar-Nick,

this is still an issue for us I'm afraid. It seems that you've gone through quite a bit with Phibs there, I'd imagine you've tried many things already. There was talk of a small memory fix in 2.1 but you're obviously still having problems. Is there anything more you can tell us about these crashes since the above thread was in action? That could help us greatly come to a fix for these issues. These files have been analyzed, yes? But you're having trouble opening ITCH at all?

I can try to erase the library and rebuild it and get the crashlogs if you like. I will try to find out at what size the program stops loading. Do you want this?

I can tell you that I have a MACBOOK pro purchased a few months ago and the program loads and performs well. The only problem I have there is the crates open very slowly.

We are aware of the limit, but thank you for the offer :-)

What I'll do is close this off as a feature request now, so there is more weight given to the need for out of memory error fixes for ITCH.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance at this stage, although it's great that things are moving along with your new computer.
