Hi there Rane peeps,
Im fairly certain that i have a problem within my SL1 harware box. Im wondering if there is a place in Sydney Australia that i can take it to for possible repair??
My problem is once all is connected properly, the track is jittery and kind of sounds like a foul stylus, but as you can imagine i've change everything, re-connected, tried a different laptop. It's now got to the point where no sound at all is coming through to the mixer.
The only thing i'm yet to do is try the hardware at a friends.
But anyways, is there a reputable place in Australia to attempt to fix the hardware if it fails at my friends?
Thanks for the help.

my guess is your not connecting everything properly or its a setting issue,
the boxes hardly ever fail,
connect your tt's or cdj's to the inputs on the sl1,
outs to channel 1 and 2 on your mixer,
set the mixers inputs to line,
in serato go to the settings, if you use tt's make sure input is set to phono, if cdj's use line,
set the cdj's to relative mode and rock out,
if you still have problems try a higher buffer setting

Thanks Sparky for your input, though ive owned the unit for a few years now and im no stranger to the set up.
Its just an output problem that seems to have gradually got worse every time i've tried to sort it out to the point now of now output at all. No output from INT mode. Not the slightest bit of signal movement from the tracking signal.
Ive swapped all leads, have a new USB lead. Tried new TT lead. Tried to even just run it through the THRU channels with vinyl. Nothing.
Ill get my mates SL1 hardware and if that simply fires up (I'll have a quick mix) and then weigh up the pro's and con's to fixing the unit or moving on.
Thanks again

So, i got my mates SL1 hardware, plugged it in and what do you know.......full signal, full sound.
Question still remains as to who Rane recommends to repair in Sydney AUS if at all. Given the many options out there now days my mind boggles.
Thoughts please.

If you have no output of audio while using INT mode, make sure volume is registering next to the virtual deck. Try different RCA cords and if no luck plug something else to the mixers input to make sure the LINE inputs of the mixer are working.
