I saw that at a pawn shop a few weeks ago for like $10. I almost got it just for show, but i'm already a pack-rat and don't need another thing taking up space.

Mine was this one from Radio Shack, back then it was like $89.99, if you were DJ'ing in the 80's, then you know this one was the sh*t! The lighted VU meters were tight haha!

The first picture was my first mixer. I eventually upgraded to one with a crossfader a year later.

Gemini PMX-7
cgi.ebay.com
(just a picture reference, not my auction)
This puny thing sat between 2 Belt Drive Gemini BD-10's. I learned how to crab scratch (required ghetto rigging due to budget and no curve adjustment) on this after watching Vestax Turntable Mechanic Workshop Video VHS tape that came with my vestax PDT-5000's.

mine too. that fader bled with the quickness. it actually almost made it's own one click flare effect with the clipping noise, haha.

I had the same mixer except mine had the smapler built in. I got mine back in 97 and my stupid ass paid $250 for it. Only if I knew then what I know now about dj equipment . . . I'd would have saved alot of money

for a few days i had an insanely shitty mixer from some whak store in la that scammed me out of some cash, that I eventually got back after threatening to throw a brick through their window. it was a stanton and it didnt even have any way to check to see if i was peaking.
I upgraded to this!
cgi.ebay.com
numark dm1001 x
and then this
www.skratchworx.com
numark ppd 01
which served me well until i the fader started bleeding and sticking, and scratching with it was impossible. the effects were also completely useless.
then a ttm 56
