I recently purchased a pair of CDJ850's and when I use them in HID mode with scratch live in internal mode, the display on the CDJ is very jumpy along with the center of the cdj where it shows the "needle" position. it is not smooth like it is when i use the control cd's while in relative mode. Any idea why this is?

This is currently just how it is with the HID mode on the 850s. Serato and Pionneer are working on a fix.

is it better to run it with the time code cd's for the time being or will it operate normally in HID mode aside from it being jumpy?

These issues don't occur when using the NoiseMap™ cds:)
