Wow that's an unbelieveable price. Especially the fact you get the VFX1 for free. Yeh something is delinitely about to drop and I don't think it's the VCI400.

Vestax can name it all they want but there has to be an upgrade when you see a price drop.

Maybe it's in response to the A&H DX drop... I think there's a good reason for Vestax to get more of these units out there to become the real standard. Being the visible standard like Technics turntables should be a long term priority with so many new controllers out there that are cutting more corners every time.

The free VFX-1 is simply because the software effects aren't worth much more than zero dollars IMO.

Also, I don't feel bad at all having spent full price just 3 months ago for both the VCI and the VFX because they are both awesome...

I just wish Serato would pay Pioneer to program their effects.

i just wish more controllers had means to be open to external fx and all the complaints about their quality would be squashed. discreet outputs for an external send on the all in ones. im not too interested in buying more itch hardware til something else offers the discreet outputs my V7s offer

Just picked up my VCI-300mkII from Guitar Center. They where not too happy to sell it to me for $499, since it was below their cost, but they went ahead and did. They didn't honor the 15% black Friday coupon however. Still a good deal. I already have a VFX-1, so I will probably sell the new one when it comes in, which means the VCI will be even cheaper for me. Last year I sold my VCI-300mk1 for $500 when I bought my NS7, so it is a win win for me.

Yeah the price drop is probably due more to just being out for so long. I got mine brand new for 599 like 3.5 months ago now. I had already bought the VFX-1 to use in SSL and ITCH, so do not feel like I should have waited or anything.

I'm thinking about picking up a vci. I live in Canada. Anyone know if the free vfx-1 applies to us Canucks? If not its gonna be $500 plus $250. For a little more I can get the ddj or ns6.

I just purchased the VCI-300mkII and like it so far. However, i wish Itch had the same capability as Scratch Live. The free VFX controller should make the purchase worth while, even if the effects aren't all that.

The VCI-400 isn't an Itch controller (strangely and unfortunately) so it has no bearing on VCI-300.

Yeah I think they extended until the end of January.

It took less than two weeks to get here from the day I sent in the rebate.

Does anyone know exactly when the extension for the rebate expires? I just bought the VCI-300 on the January 10th but it says you have to have the rebate postmarked by the 15th and I'm going to miss that deadline because the post office is closed on sunday and the ups store says when they post date the letter it will be for the 17th.

I think they extended it till the end of January. Just send it, all they can say is no.

Just received the vfx 1 on Friday! And with the vestax cf2 fader it is a sick small setup

Well I hope they did extend it because I bought the larger Odyssey case to hold both the 300 and the VFX

I called and told them that's all I had and they made the adjustments so with tax everything came to $480. It was new in the box.

Good stuff. I saw a coupon online today from GC for $50 off coupon code CYC150 but you have to type vestax in the search bar to find the discount on the vci300.

Returning my second mkii in less than a month. The first had a faulty sound card and this one all the cue buttons don't work. Hope this next one works out ok

What was wrong with the sound card?

the sound would all of sudden cut in half or get much lower at random times.

Just letting you guys know...I called in to American Music and Sound to find out about how soon the VFX-1's ship out, and they said 10-12 weeks after you send in the rebate. Just gotta be patient!

I sent my rebate in before the New year and it only took less then 2 weeks to get my VFX1... but I gotta be honest the VFX1 or the effects in Itch are horrible to say the least.

Mine took less than two weeks too. They are just probably giving you worst case scenario.
