Whenever I enable SL Plug on my ttm 57sl. It starts to move real slow and and causes my computer to move slow and I cant even get to the point of using the plug in because it moves slow

Yes, it would be good to get your full computer specs including the graphics card that is installed on your machine.

Do you have Perian installed ? We recommend that all Video-SL users on a MAC OS install Perian. This will definitely improve performance. Perian is a free, QuickTime component that adds native support for many popular video formats.

Download Perian Here; perian.org

Try this and let me know how performance is after installing.

also how do i get the projector to show only the video and not what i am doing on my computer at the moment like changing tracks or anything.
