Suggestion: oscilloscope

I've been using Serato for about 3 years, and Ableton for about 2.
The one thing I've noticed lacking in Ableton Live is an "oscilloscope" function.
Because of the familiarity of Scratch Live I always export my track into a file and load it into Serato so I can visualize the waveform. This can take a while, so it would be easier if the functionality of Scratch Live was brought into Ableton Live through either a standalone vst or the Bridge.

Hey derezak,

I'm pretty sure there is a spectrum analyzer in Ableton Live that you can use? It's called Spectrum and should be in your Audio effects?

I also would love to have such a feature in any daw. The waveform view of serato is really useful! Wouldn't it be possible to port the display function of serato into an au or vst!?
I would buy it immediately!
