After recording a 1 hour set, I powered down my system, shutting off my mixer. I neglected to hit the save button in serato. I did find the file in my _Serato_> Recording temp folder, however it does not play. Its a 582.4mb AIFF-C audio file
Is there any way to salvage this into a useable file?

It does nothing when I open it. NOTHING. Itunes opens, but nothing happens. Doesnt even show up in Itunes library.

I just tried re naming it .mp3 and it didnt work. Garage band cant open it either.

Its a 582 mb file... there isn't a way to kind of re encode it or something?

Probably not. Seems the file was left unfinished - so it might not have actual Music Properties since it wasnt finalized.

You can try pulling it up in an audio editing program and if waveforms show up, you should be able to save it.
