I watched that whole video, and dude is an insanely talented turntablist.
It was amazing but all I saw was him ripping it beat juggling et al with SSL and it’s loops
I really wish ableton got worked a little more. I didn’t see any clips being launched at all. There really is so much one can do being able to perform with a DAW, I can’t wait until someone really tweaks it.

thanks for your feedback. You're right. I don't launch alot of clips. I use Ableton live as a playback and scratch on top of it or use it with a acapella. I used to launch all clips when I started using the bridge but it gets a little confusing in a live situation. So I decided to launch my clips with automation. So I only have to start my project or certain scenes during my set and it follows the automation in order.
and I use the bridge only for certain parts during my show. It's a 2h set I used the bridge for 5 5-10min blocks.

You've got crazy skills man. I think turntablists like yourself have to think a lot quicker using a DVS system vs reg vinyl bc of all the looping and rapid fire track switching you're able to do.
Launching clips by automation..... Ok I've been taking courses online but haven't got to that yet....
Is that when the songs are layed out in arrangement view and you press play on the main button of ableton at the beginning of the performance then start scratching and juggling? I've also read about dummy clips, but they require launching as well.....
Tha ks for your info either way

You can add automation to the clips. It's called follow action and it's says what a clip will do after it's finished. For example play 8 times and start next clip.
