Tracks are beatgridded, beatgrid sync is engaged, but every time I select a stored CUE via Twitch the tracks do snap to sync-up and I have to press sync again to get them to align - every single time. Very frustrating. How do I get this corrected?

Hi [O/][iii][O/],

This is standard behavior when triggering cues with SYNC activated in Itch.

I'll log this as a feature request to have a "trigger CUE in sync mode" or something similar

sorry, meant to type "...tracks do NOT snap to sync-up and I have to press sync again to get them to align..."

anyway, thanks for the info jeremy. curious, any idea WHY tracks do NOT stay sync'd up when selecting cues ISN'T standard behavior? seems like syncing up would be the logical/expected behavior (like competitive programs do) when working in ITCH since syncing up tracks to beatgrids is a primary function of the program with sync is engaged.

This is how the unit was spec'ed initially, I suppose sometimes you might not want to trigger a cue exactly in SYNC, it isn't so bad if you just press SYNC straight after triggering...

But I agree, it would be nice to have an option, possibly SHIFT + CUE or something like that to trigger a CUE and keep SYNC locked..

I would think the norm would be to want/expect it to automatically snap to sync and the exception to be un-synced. Anyway, what made me discover this is that I've been trying to simulate the longtime, massive requested feature "splice to skip" serato.com from SL by hitting cues in ITCH, but without an accurate grad snap it's not working very well :-(

Same here.

I have found that "snap to grid" would lend itself perfectly to these units as jumping about the tracks would be perfect.

It should at least be an potion in setup. Hope this makes it's a feature as the "other" top softwares do it.
