You just answered your own question Que. We do not get our video for free. No legitimate service does. We pay royalties on all releases. There is no such a thing as free promotion any longer. And that is the new reality. Welcome to what is REAL.
Don't shoot the messenger my man, but that is the state of our brave new world. The reason these cheese-ball sites are disappearing is exactly that. You want cheese, you eat cheese...and you're show looks like hell. Good luck with that.
Our rates run from $24.99 per month to the top tier of $129.00. Break it down. In many cases this is even cheaper than any illegal source. My staff has worked like dogs to get you what you need, when you need it, and at a price that is fair. And for what it is worth, sites like Smash and Promo Only literally work their asses off too, to give you legal releases, on time (show me who of the three of us is faster. (Good luck, Chuck), and at a reasonable rate.
You got a problem there? You got a problem thanking the people (the labels and the distributors) who produce this stuff for a reasonably minor fee so that you can use it to make you look like a hero. You have problems paying the incredibly talented VJ remixers who churn out the stuff that makes you look like you have a reasonable clue as to what you are doing?
There is a problem with that? Any real pro would not see one.
