4-Port USB 2.0 ExpressCard vs Hub

Im looking to add usb ports to my macbook pro. I like the 4-Port USB 2.0 ExpressCard. Is there any reason a Hub would be better ? I have not seen many djs use the 4-Port USB 2.0 Express Card, most use hubs....any particular reason ?

Has anyone ever actually used the express card slot on their macbook pro? This is the only reason I could imagine it being any use.

I use the expresscard slot for my midi conections. My MBP has 2 USB Slots (1 for Scratch Live and 1 for DJM800 Midi), then i use 2 USB slots on the expresscard (1 to power the TV converter from Digital to Analogue and 1 for the Dicers)
