is it necessary to remove 1.4 from my setup, it seems to be working fine. i am using windows xp, 2.88ghz, 512mb, 60gb?

it has been said time and time again that you should remove it and move back to 1.3 for now.

No, 1.4 could damage your box at any time.

If your box isn't damaged and you downgrade then your box will continue to work fine.

but has there been anyone who has gotten their box damaged using XP? so far i've only seen mac people get effed over...

So what? It could happen. And to avoid that, the serato team encourage you NOT to use 1.4. Period.

how do i reinstall 1.4, is it best to completely uninstall 1.4 from the control panel, then put in 1.3?

EXCUSE MY LAST MESSAGE, should i uninstall serato from the control panel. if i do are there any downsides, will i lose any info? how about my crates?

1.4 public preview 1 is NOT safe, which has been said like a dozen times here. Do you see any new version out here?
