That depends if you are on a mac than you can make a quartz composition file that just shows a camera feed, otherwise you need something like an edirol v-4.

Here you go
just import it into serato like a normal video and then just drop it in with an audio file

Hi djbreeze_1,
I have set the download privileges to all so should be able to see and download the file that djs1 has uploaded.
Let me know if you run into any issues :)
Sam.

the best way to record is using screenflow or a pinnacle video transfer if you can find one

Is a qtz file available for using external USB webcams instead of the built-in iSight (Mac)?
In MixEmergency it is possible like shown here:
Watchwww.youtube.com
He uses a file called video.DVInputStream
(found here: www.inklen.com )
but this does not work with Video-SL (because it's not a qtz file).

I downloaded and said I needed quicktime player 7 which i then downloaded. opened the quartz file in quicktime but just shows a black screen in my built-in isight? However my camera works fine in other applications? Something wrong with my isight?

At one point I came across a video of how to run multiple video cameras in quartz, so when you would slide a record backward it would be one camera and when you moved it forward it would be another.
