Hopefully its just a driver needing to be re installed.
Lets try it, do this:
Close down the ScratchLIVE program
Connect the interface to the computer
Go to Start and right click on Computer then click Manage
When the Manage Window comes up - look to the left and select Device Manager
Over to the right you should now see a list of stuff
Towards the end of that list it says Universal Serial Bus COntrollers
Click on the + sign to reveal them all
Right click the Rane/Serato Driver and select Delete
Now close this Window we are done here.
Next go to Start/All Programs/Serato and click on Update Drivers
This will install the driver.
Now check to see if the interface is recognized.

kDjabOve: Any luck with this? And are you sure you are running 64-bit Windows and not 32?

I'm actually using 32-bit.. Not 64 like I thought. Does that make a difference in figuring out the issue that I'm having?

No - but it did help me confirm about an email Serato sent me that might relate to this thread...
Did you send this email below?

When asked what type of cpu I had I meant to put Windows Vista (32 bit)... Not (64 bit). I dont know if that makes a difference or not. Also when Im in the Device manager and then click on universal serial bus controllers after hitting the + sign to reveal them all there is no Rane/Serato Driver for me to highlight and delete.. Can you help please thanks

Yes I did send that email. Right now the problem seems to be ok. Thanks for your help. I just want to make sure I know what to do if it were to happen again.

Sounds good. Yea Windows can kick the Driver out of its slot sometimes so using the Driver Updater should help with this.
