I used to have this codec available from the dropdown menu of PIP a few months back, and for some reason (QT updates? 10.6 updates), it doesnt show up anymore, so the pip cam flickers all over the place.
Can someone pleassse guide me on how to get it back. Either here or on the phone, please.
I looked on google on "install apple vc h. 263" but nothing I can find on how to do that.
I'm not too cpu litterate so please bare with me.

I thought Perian, would have this codec, since I've had Perian installed for month. But it's not there.

When I do a search on the mac for H.263, this is what I find:
2 files called QTStreamingComponents.h
2 files called QTStreamingComponents.r
Can I paste and copy these in the PIP application folder somewhere?

Please help me I'm desperate
Again I used this PIP before, some months ago, and I had this H.263 so I dont understand how it could vanish like that.

or maybe I need PIP V2, I'm gonna check on that

Ok well if anyone else ever run into this, dont panic like I did, just get PIP2 with 10.6 it's even simplier than before, no tweakings necessary, works right away.
