I've never thought of that, but that's an easy way to transition from karaoke to video djing without having to swap a bunch of crap

I think any decent software can do it, but I don't have any cd+g discs to try it out.

If it works I will let you know, I am on my way to Best Buy to buy a Karoake DVD. I downloaded the software of the internet, I got the demo version. I dont wanna post anything until I am sure it works. If it works I may but a few DVDs off of Ebay. Probably about 100 good songs that I can use throughout the night and then build on that. I wish I had a way to play the video on one screen and the lyrics on the other screen. So some folks can watch the video and some folks read the words.

I have a whole set of CD+Gs that we use for work functions sometimes. If anyone gets positive results on this, please share! I am DJing for the company retreat in April, and they want to do some karaoke too. Would be awesome to be able to do it all in VSL and not have to have to fux with the lame karaoke box lol.

*For the record* I don't ever normally do karaoke. Love to watch it at the bar but HATE hosting it. I am only doing it because it's my day job's retreat and I get to DJ for the majority of the time - and they are paying double my normal residency rate lol.

Ok that dont do mp4 but if you look on there site there is CD+G TO I-POD, if you go into settings there is a custom and you can set the video size bitrate pal/ntsc audio quality.

Yes, but HandBrake can only convert no-encrypted DVDs and CDs. I used to copy a disk like yours but " Invalid title"emerged once and click. So if your disk is decoded you would better choose another software such as WonderFox and Wondershare which are all better than HandBrake in DVD Ripping.
