Hello Rane people.
This mixer was a demo unit used for the 68 demos in Norway.
Far as i know it was only used for a showcase by BigWiz,
and an Ableton showcase.
Got a few issues:
Got home from a gig last nite, set up at home, did some practice mixing today.
1.
Suddenly the Phaser FX won't trigger unless presses REALLY hard.
2.
Also noticed the left crate scroll button is nearly worn out. Someone's been pressing it to hard. If I take of the plastic cap, the scroll & push function works flawlessly. So I guess it just needs a new cap.
3. The cut-in point on the right side of the crossfader has about 3 millimeters of "dead space", whereas the left side is dead on point.
So i wanted to ask:
Will i need to send it in to have this fixed?
Will it be covered by Rane?
Whats the normal turnaround time for doing this in Scandinavia? (including shipping time, repairs are done by Sennheiser in Ireland?)
Thanks, Warp

Hey WarpNote,
I would go ahead and send it in.
The unit will be under warranty but you will need to send it to us in the States as it is a factory service repair only.
Either give us a call or send us your information via a PM.
We will need:
Full name:
Address:
Phone number:
Serial number:
Description of problem:
Once we have that we'll give you an RA number and our shipping address.
Let me know:)

Kewl, been in contact with my local store,
they'll supply a mixer for me if needed while the 68 is in repair.
Apart from the little quirks I still love this unit ;)
Thanks, Warp
