I want both SL1 and TTM57SL! :-S

Hi All,

Is there any way of getting the TTM57SL, the SL1 and ONE copy of the software and disks?

I really like the TTM57SL, but I know not all clubs will let me whack in a mixer of my own.

Do Serato or Rane do a deal where you get one of each and one copy of the software, rather than having to pay for the software and control disks twice?

cheers,

Chris

Software is free ..... but useless without the hardware...

if you buy both products the only thing you'll have extra is an extra set of vinyls which you'll end up using anyway.

there is a workaround for using the ttm57 as a SL1 box...see this post...

Yeah, but a TTM57 is pretty hefty, and I know the DJ booths of a lot of clubs are pretty small :-S

Save up and buy both
Then you will have extra control disc/vynil, which you will have to buy replacement eventually.

:'(

I wonder if anyway does a discount if you buy them both at the same time?

I don't think it would hurt if you ask a dealer, sounds reasonable to offer a discount if you spend lots of cash on equipment from one dealer.

My recommendation as well.

And having both is great, plus extra control vinyls to boot!

I'd start out with a Rane TTM57 if you don't own either! 57 can be used as a SL1, see post of boabmatic, so if u can install the mixer it's awesome, and otherwise u just use Serato without the features of the Mixer...that still is plenty=)

I have the SL1 and thinking im going to sell my box and get the 57, based on the extra features you could use. Thoughts??

u meen SL1 or the actual program???
cappinkirk 8:42 PM - 8 June, 2007
sorry SL1
Deejay Z 9:18 PM - 8 June, 2007
do u do night clubs???
Vince 10:43 AM - 9 June, 2007
I think nowadays Clubs should just have a SL1 installed in the Club, cause Serato is slowly getting standard...

ya, i agree, however, I DJ all over Chicago and have only seen it in 1 club and thats just because the resident leaves his there.....I think its a way off which makes me want to sell my DJM600 mixer instead of selling my SL1
cappinkirk 8:41 PM - 9 June, 2007
yes i do clubs but they know that i know what i'm doing so they let me do whatever i want
