Hello amesh,

Look at your scope views when you get these skips.
Does the circle get funky when the skips happen?
Does your tracking percentage (found in the lower right corner of each scope view) drop when the skips happen?

My guess is the culprit is the cd players themselves.
If the cd player is skipping then obviously the files in SSL will skip because all SSL is reading is the tone coming from your cd players.

If the tracking percentage is dropping that means the box is receiving an intermittent signal and my guess is its an issue with your cd players.
I'm pretty sure I've come across this issue with the 4500s before.
Do you have any effects turned on on the cd players (ie master tempo/keylock)?

Do you have another cd player you can test with?
Preferably a Pioneer cdj?

Or even a turntable?

Try to get your hands on another cd player to test.
Even if its just a home stereo cd player.
