Does anyone know of an mp3 encoder that uses lame but wont mess with the id3 tag because all of my songs are properly names but they are at different bitrates and i would like to set them all up at the same level, well thanks alot for your help!

do a search....you don't want to re-encode your mp3s. this is called "transcoding" and you lose audio quality when you do this. if you have mp3s that are encoded at different bitrates, you just have to live with that (or get an uncompressed source file ie. WAV, AIFF, etc and encode to mp3 from that).

again though....do a search. this topic of mp3 encoding has been beaten to death in many many posts.
