Hi,
I've just tried to calc the BPM of a lot of WAV files and ALLOWED SSL 2.0 to write back the info into the files (I've removed the read-only flag) - and SSL 2.0 crashed.
I've used 2.0 and no newer version because they are not working correctly during djing (drop outs with WAV files) and 2.1.1 always tries to update the WAV files (see other threads).
The crash info from Windows 7 64-bit:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BEX
Application Name: ScratchLive.exe
Application Version: 2.0.0.49
Application Timestamp: 4bb29c60
Fault Module Name: MSVCR80.dll
Fault Module Version: 8.0.50727.4927
Fault Module Timestamp: 4a2752ff
Exception Offset: 00046039
Exception Code: c000000d
Exception Data: 00000000
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: 2e88
Additional Information 2: 2e88e4e14ecd6a84a26aa264030e8d02
Additional Information 3: 13fb
Additional Information 4: 13fba8a7e93b7fcee23a8c94da19e096
Does this help? Is this fixed in a newer version? Is there a new 2.2 available (as Beta for testing)?

Note - it happens ONLY when SSL tries to write back the info into the WAV file (read-only flag removed) - not during calculation. ID3 tags did exist in the file.
I've tried to update a lot of files with 4 cores and after the 4th core has finished the file (the 4th file) the crash happend.
btw: This does not happen with MP3 files.

I've just found Beta 2.2 and tried it within a VM with 2 cores and it works. Seems to be fixed soon. :-)

Hey pueblofunky,
Has 2.2 fixed your problem? Let me know if you still get this crash while analyzing your library and I will help you find out what is causing this :)

Mysterious - I was not able to re-produce the crash with 2.0 and 2.2 PB 3 today - also not with the same files.
