I'm looking at getting some cd decks main feature I need is compact size! I'd also like to be able to scratch (basic stuff) on them and use the wheel to nudge the pitch and cue tracks up. I don't really want to spend over 300 quid (I think that's 500-660 dollars) on each one, any suggestions? I don't need MP3 playback.

as the above, will be using them just for scratch live so mp3, efx etc are not needed

I bought a pair of CDJ 800 MKII for $1200 from PSSL. (I worked'em over pretty good) I have used them for 2 weeks now, they're dope. I didn't want to get the 1000's due to the fact that all the extra's are nullified when using SSL.

You got 14 turntables, 6 cd decks, 34 mixers and a garage full of speakers.... You're right, I should have said "Equipment Lord"...

Take a look a the DN-S1000 they are about £325, but I don't know how good they are for scratching.
