Hi,

I want to buy a new PC where all components are supporting Windows 7 64-bit.

I want to use Wavelab 7 (64-bit) and also Serato with SL1 Hardware.

Questions regarding Windows 7:

1) Will Serato Software work with Windows 7 64-bit?
2) Will Serato Hardware SL1 work with Windows 7 64-bit?
3) Must it run in a 32-Bit environment?
4) Are there any other issues?

Questions regarding Intel processors:

1) Which new processors / chipsets from Intel are OK and working without any problems with SL1? Is there a list available? Or a list which are not working?

Thanks a lot for your help.

PS:

I've forgotten: I also want to use USB 3.0 pci cards ... with SL1 hardware. Any problems?

On the PC, SL-1 and TTM57 are not working with i3, i5 or i7 processors. We do not recommend them because at this point we know it won't work proper.

I've heard a few reports from people that their machine will but we have yet to get the needed info from them to follow up. We are trying this and evry other thing we can do. The problem is not on our side. We know the problem, alerted both PC and MAC to the issue and MAC already put out a fix in their software.

Scratch Live will work with Windows 7 64 bit.
The SL-1 will work with Windows 7 64 bit.
It can also work in 32bit, but it is not required.

I would look for intel core 2 dou, or a pentium processor.
