learn those buttons and all 7 menus:) the 7th is the no button pressed menu that hides hardware, etc. get real comfy with them and u will be the man. then you can customize your interface too & make it even better, use the built in echo like a pro, etc.

Got mine last Thursday and new to the digital world. One of the tips I can share is that you must rethink the way you usually dj. Sit down and read the manual, and get familiar with the buttons. I am still getting use to everything myself but just reading and using the 57sl hands on just for a few days I am finding that the amount of creativity is limitless with this machine. Get out of the paradigm you are in and learn the new way of DJin 57SL changes everything!

I did. I ended up having to send it in to Rane...I tell you what, the place I bought it from, Pro Sound Stage and Lighting in Cali needs to work on its customer service. Zane was all about trying to help me to get the item to work...those other jabronies were useless.
