I would'nt say "Sync". The right term for it is Quantize.

From what we have seen it's not really a sync across the whole program just that you can sync your ableton set to one of the decks.

Isn't the sync basically between the sampler/ableton trasport control? I would like to work with that.....but keep the two main decks open to traditional mixing. 4 or 5 tracks is a lot to keep up with at once, so I think the sync/quantize in that aspect isn't bad. I remember seeing a video with traktor about that in terms of the 3rd or 4th deck(don't remember exactly) and having a quantize feature. I guess it would come in helpful in a multi-track situation like that. I guess we'll wait and see what the bridge brings.

don't worry, it does not have Autosync between decks....

BUT...(and as you correctly state) it does offer the option of sync between a deck and Ableton Live.

you should be able to check it out for yourself, in about...er, let me see.....

Not sure if this is possible but it seems like if you have a rane 68 you can use up two decks as ableton decks (assuming you can use more than one deck for ableton) and play mp3's through ableton via ssl and then have autosync. Is that possible?

Nice one Sean....yeah, I definitely like the option of a sync when it would come to multiple decks and not the main two decks...and as far as checking it out....well, I'm sure were not that far off...:-).... I'm a patient man....I'd love to see/hear about new product and take the wind out of people's sails...;-)
