Probably already been asked in the forums somewhere and I understand that you can have a virtual 3rd deck using SL-3, however when are we going to be able to use my 4 x 1210's and Denon DX1700 to mix on 4 decks with Serato? Get a bit bored mixin on 2 and my digital collection is so much bigger than my vinyl collection. Really want to mix on 3 or 4 decks. Or do I have to switch to Traktor or use two separate computers and 2 separate seratos?
... Cheers

Hey mate, nice to see another Aussie on the forums!
You need the SL3 for the 3 deck option as i have in my setup

...and the Rane 68 mixer for the 4 deck shizzle (no 4 decks without it).
PM me for any more info if you need it :)

Btw... you can use any of the SP6 sampler slots as a virtual 3rd deck with the SL1 (albeit with no headphone monitoring).

I have the DX1700 imported and love it, so not keen on any other mixers and am really a purist so the midi/ virtual options don't appeal to me either, it's all about the decks. So to answer my question I just have to deal with it, Serato will not be supplying the functionality for me to mix with 3 or 4 physical turntables using one PC/ Serato Sound card and my mixer of choice (not Rane)? Thanks again

So are you using SL-3 using the aux for a 3rd deck? On the product statement for SL-3 it still says 2 decks.

You have to be running the 2.0 software to be able to use 3 decks with the SL3. Make sure you enable the SL3 Aux Deck Plugin in the setup menu too.

yes but as KDoGG says you need 2.0 software to enable 3 deck
