Anyone from Rane, quick q on the ttm56

my setup is a ttm56, efx-1000, SSL, and two mk5s.

whenever i turn on my flex fx (i keep it all the way wet on the ttm56), audio from the right channel is always cut by a percentage (roughly 80% output compared to the left channel). I looked at the output on the efx-1000 and it displayed equal on both channels. now when i turn off flex fx, the output returns to normal (100%right, 100%left). Is there something wrong with my mixer, or am I not setting something up right? thanks!

gained? all my tracks are outputting one or two bars below the peak...and there's a very audible click whenever i turn on the flex fx...is that normal?

I think it does the same on my setup.
