Just looking for some songs to freshen up my set. I play a predominantly Top 40/radio hip-hop set to a really diverse crowd so the obvious is in there (Promiscuous, Sexy Back).
So far I have things like:
Poison - BBD
White Lines - Grandmaster Flash
Spring Love - Stevie B
Don't Cha - Tori Alamaze
We Be Burnin' - Sean Paul
Move Your Body - Nina Sky
Jook Gal - Elephant Man
Get Down Hit The Floor - Twista feat Pitbull
Shake - Pitbull
Smack That - Akon w/Eminem
Culo - Pitbull
Toma - Pitbull
Ay Chico - Pitbull
Don't Stop Till Ya Get Enough - Michael Jackson
Beat It - Michael Jackson
Bust a Move - Young MC
Wild Thing - Tone Loc
Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Great songs...
You should also try and track down - Mustapha Dance by The Clash, it's a dubbed out instrumental of "Rock the Casbah", so people recognise the tune but it's f*nky as 7 day old sh*t.
Also try and getthe Organised COnfusion album a lot of the joints ont here are quite uptempo. And also for that speed set, and great as building a genre bridge tracks are the early De La Soul tracks such as Me Myself and Eye, Say no go, Roller Skating jam named Saturday etc... etc...
Also Ugly Duckling Just a little Samba is int he 100's as well...

Any oldschool electro-hiphop is usually in or around this range--
-Afrika Bambaataa (Planet Rock)
-Cybotron (Clear)
-Egyptian Lover (Freak-a-holic)
-Pretty Tony (Will We Ever Learn)
-Hashim (Al Naafiysh)
-Twilight 22 (Eletric Kingdom)
-Planet Patrol (Play At Your Own Risk)
-George Kranz (Din Daa Daa)
-Nucleus (Jam On It)
-Freestyle (The Party Has Just Begun)
-Herbie Hancock (Rockit)
-Time Zone (Wildstyle)
Don't know how well they would fit your sets but since you play for "diverse" crowd, I thought I'd throw some of em out there. Especially since a lot of songs today are using these old electro beats nowadays.
Also, any old freestyle music is usually in or around this range--
-Lisa Lisa (Let The Beat Hit Em, I Wonder If I Take You Home)
-Exposé (Point Of No Return, Come Go With Me, Exposed To Love)
-Shannon (Let The Music Play)
-The Cover Girls (Show Me)
-Trinere (They're Playing Our Song)
-Joyce Sims (All And All)
-Debbie Deb (Lookout Weekend, When I Hear Music)
-Orbit & Carol Hall (The Beat Goes On)
-Nocera (Summertime Summertime)
-Company B (Fascinated)
-Nice & Wild (Diamond Girl)
Again just tryin to give you more things you might be able to throw into a set and still keep people entertained and movin'.
