It's all good here!
Black MacBook 2.0Ghz 2.GB ram.
Numark NS7
Track record so far:
Itch 1.1 - No problems what so ever. No crash, no latency issues, no noticable flaws (only feature requests) Super pleased and loving the system.
Itch 1.5 RC - No problems so far. (issues otherwise reported in Betaforum)
SSL 1.9.2 - Generally no problem at all, but have had a couple of system crashes (before gig started luckily) due to iTunes related issues. Seems to be working now. Occasional needle drift on very tight/small movements, but nothing worth complaining about ;) All in all a good system, but I have actually experienced less problems with Itch vs SSL the past year.

1 MS Latency

I've never tested the latency with DPC latency checker, but i never hear weird sound while djing. (but i also don't know what a drop out is ... it's when the song being cut while playing ? or else ?)
I was a virtual dj user with a berinhger before and also a noob with much as classic turntablish djing as serato SSL or Itch djing.
I was just disapointed by the fact that i thought the motors were turning at same speed, so i didn't understand why when the bpm were the same, the songs weren't synchronised properly ... (I've never tested the sync button with the last release with motors on to see if it works fine... I'll test)
But after reading this forum, i find out that it was normal, the speed of the motors are slightly different ( and it's also the case with real turntable).
So no problem after all ! It's great hardware and software !
I take a great pleasure to use them !
it rocks and i'm addicted to !

I've never had a problem RUNNING ITCH on 32-bit Windows XP SP2. I've run ITCH since v1.1 on the following:
* Desktop with a Pentium D830 with 1 GB RAM (practice setup) - 2 ms latency
* Laptop with a T7300 Core2Duo with 2GB RAM (gigging setup) - 2 ms latency
In 1.1, I had a problem with how XP SP3 messed up the integration with iTunes. I haven't tested it since because it works so well now.
Oh yeah, NS7. No probs and loving it!

Asus G72GX-RBBX05 - Core 2 Duo - P8700; 6GB memory; 500 GB HDD, running ITCH 1.5 on Windows 7 64-bit - NS7 with NSFX Runs perfectly
Also run it with my home desktop for practice -- don't remember all the stats except that is a also Core 2 Duo with 8 gig of memory and a 500 gig HDD. Can get a little choppy there sometimes, but that's because I have a bunch of background stuff installed there that I don't always bother to turn off, and also I'm looping from the computer to NS7 back to the computer's sound card line-in, which is kind of hacky but good enough for just fooling around.

Itch = best system ever for me.
Not a single issue in more then a year of using itch.
I use NS7 + NSFX, and VCI 300 + VFX-1
on mainly mac book pro intel 2.66ghz, OSX10.5.8
and as backup on Toshiba P200, intel 2.4ghz , vista 32bit
I run mainly the Beta's during performance, and they didn't let me down so far. (altough I have the official releases installed aswel as backup)
Both operating systems run without any issues, but the mac just works smoother in every aspect. Also more laptop software maintenance required with vista 32bit to keep it smooth compared with mac.

So that it:
* Doesn't ring during calls
* Doesn't ring during texts
* Doesn't alarm when it reminds you that you have to go to Lisa's house after the event
* Doesn't warn you that there's only 20% battery life remaining
* Doesn't alert you that General Motors announced a response to it's stock drop (story developing)
* Doesn't alert you that Lisa sent an IM (Her name's not on the guest list)
In short, it's a pain in the azz - and the iPod Touch is the same thing (but it doesn't do the first two bullets above).

So far not a single problem, only the mini laptop is a bit to light for heavy duty live performence.

I had a couple problems with the NS7 just disconnecting, the platters would continue to spin but it was unresponsive, I was worried it was the NS7 but when I hooked it up to a crappy little dell with vista and it worked. I seemed to have problems running the NS7 after I installed the drivers for my MOTU 828, I had to reinstall the 64 bit drivers a few times, then it would work, but when I shut it off, I woud have to reinstall the drivers again.
I downloaded 1.5, it installed, screen went blue - uh oh.. Restarted, no problems. My NSFX was delivered yesterday, I hooked it up tonight and just spent the past 3 hours with it. WOW! Worked like a charm and opened up a whole new level. When I finally stopped I felt like I had just come from a rave - (Im old now, havent partied in years) - bad thing to do before bedtime because now I am wired like Im jonesing for drugs, trying to keep myself from going back in there and firing it up again, and staying up late and ruining tomorrow.
I find scratching to be therapeutic and I am relatively new to it - but it comes easily to me and I knew I would love it before I actually did it. (I actually had dreams about it before I ever did it). Anyway, enough rambling.
I am using a new HP DV7 with Quad Core processors, 8 gigs of ram, 500 gig HD, Using a MOTU 828 MK2, with 1.5 I have no problems running itch and also using the Motu for my AKAI MPK 49 at the same time. Cant wait for the Bridge..
I LOVE THE NSFX(7)!!

I have two V7s and have been using Itch for three years. To be honest I have used two separate Dells with Windows XP and Windows 7 and a Toshiba with Windows XP. All the machines had specs better than required and I had nothing but problems with Itch even after following all the guides. I tweaked the laptops to the point I was running Itch as the shell and nothing else and still could not get Itch to stabilize. This was with versions 1.5 - 2.0. I finally broke down and bought a MacBook Pro. I am still not a fan of Mac, but I have only had one issue since getting the MacBook Pro. I have a MacBook Pro 13" with the i7 processor purchased December 2011. It has 4 GB of ram and I am running OS X Lion. The only issue I have now is Itch will crash if the USB cord for my V7 is pulled out while the app is running. This is a known issue. I hate to say it but Itch just seems to behave on the MacBook Pro.

This is because of the way programs operate under Mac OS X as opposed to Windows. Mac OS X graphically accelerates the entire desktop including all running programs. Windows does not. Only programs on Windows which are coded to use hardware graphic acceleration will do so, hence the (slightly) jerky waveforms.

No longer an issue and I am a happy itch customer who uses his ns6 and ns7 more than his turntables and 57s now. yes even better than the tonetable on ipads

Only problem was when BPM Analyzing tracks and having correct grids on the Version that came on the CD with my Xone:DX, But since the update to 2.1 things have been a lot better but still off but I blame the music I DJ (GABBER which is 165+ BPM mostly) and a lot of productions are heavily compressed making it hard for serato to find the beat but it gets 75% of tracks correct and 100% when I am playing genres such as house even my own IDM/Glitch and even ambient productions that incredibly hard to read for most people but serato is right on the ball every time.

Should have proof read that post for grammar and mistakes, like missing the fact that "a lot of the Gabber productions, I have bought (from even the most reputable names in Hardcore) are heavily compressed"... I usually reread something before I post it, but oh well, at least I reread this before I posted rather than looking like an unintelligent idiot (of which I am) hahaha.

No problems here: MBP 2.26 Core 2 Duo, 8GB, 160GB HD.
I had an issue running Itch and iTunes at the same time (not for gigging, but setting up songs as I use iTunes smart crates with ratings), I upgraded to 8GB for $72 and everything is sweet now.

If I can get each release past 50% on the installation routine and actually installed (still not easy on win7 64)...
... Itch runs like a dream. v2 was such a leap forward in terms of stability and the feel of the product. After 2.x it just feels much more solid than the 1.x versions. It's still not got the same feel that I used to take for granted in SSL though.
... once you can actually get it installed on your win7 64-bit machine of course.

No joke. I ran around with a Thinkpad R60 (Core Duo (not Core 2, Core) @ 2.0GHz with 2.5GB of RAM and Windows XP. ITCH Hardware was a Numark NS7 (which, as anyone here knows, pounds a system into submission if it's not up to snuff). Those old Lenovo's have got some life in them.

Its up in the air for me, I have issues with ITCH, the effect section and managing music. i notice i spend less time on my PC managing cue point and loops then i do with my macbook pro. Could be anything, which version of windows is installed on your laptop?
First thing I'd try is opening taskmanager and killing every unnecessary process. Disable wlan, shut down your antivir/firewall and quit all of these "helper tasks" that are usually pre-installed on any laptop... like energysaving, cpubooster and stuff like that. Then try starting ITCH.
