Why does SL not show the length of MP3 files after importing them?

It works with WAV files - however I only have ~ 15 MP3 and 6000 WAV files but ...

Tag & Rename and MP3Tag have no problems and show the information after importing them.

Why not SL?

Length won't show until you build overviews/analyze the file or load it to a deck. That's just the way it is unfortunately.
