i had very big problems with my vista pc-system.....kral had the solution.....
now i can work without any problems all night long... djing makes pleasure..... thanks allot at kral....

at that right there is all i care about. I just want other dj's using this set up to help expand this platform. I have no other motivation so all the people thinking i am personally attack them or thier ideas I am not

it is good when you can talk and iron diferences out. like that you learn to become more of a better peson.. after all we are all in this because we love music or I hope we do.. do we all? +1 to Kraal, sinc ethe very begining, he has helped me alot get my way through Itch and master the VCI.

He Helped me alot with my several issues as well as for my music sorting. Gave me great new ideas and showed me new ways of using the power of itunes and music organisation.

If you follow a lot of these threads you will see there are times when differances lead to understanding and change of opinion on mind. Sure, ITCH'll run in Ubuntu under WINE - but ITCH will only be the media player as WINE won't support the hardware and neither will Ubuntu.

kraal ... where did you get the vfx1 i thought this was not available in north america yet

i know a manager at sam ash... he made a call a while back and they had one in the warehouse sent out

so being a hip hop dj how do you feel about it so far ... hip hop djs are not really known for effects. i myself have never had a change to expirement with any type of effects. whats the verdict?

i will tell you this i am not heavy effects at all... but the delay/echo repeater and reverser are really cool effects to use.

i am slowly adding more and more. hopefully i can get some video of my set this coming up friday one of those places where i can do what i want and the people are actually there to see me.
i use the LPF allot now in trasitions. but like i said i do simple things like add the echo on the gunshot at the end of 'russian roulette' by rihanna.

but i think the best way to some it up is. I never thought i would use it till i got it

exactly . if you get a chance look for mixes by dj homiside he does hiphop but uses effects.

i think done right they just can add to your sound. I am happy to have them

How is it that RnB/Hip Hop DJs don't use FX when RnB/Hip Hop productions are amazingly heavy FX'd these days?

its the ego thing... hiphop dj's look at effects as that techno thing. so they want to keep it to just blending and scratching.


but you lave a point listen to the new jay-z stuff and it is full of effects ect

Yes exactly... new top 40 productions HEAVILY borrow elements from '90s-2000's techno/trance tracks... DJs should understand the wall has been broken...

Diamantesound, I am also a latin/urban dj. As for the latin I used the echo allot and everyone loved it. For example, the Toros Band track, La Quiero Ver, hopefully you are familiar with it, I would echo the ...aqui hay mujeres que bailan bueno, and echo the bailan bueno part I would also echo the Chorus portion throughout the whole song. People loved it, some people thought the song was recorded that way. I wouldn't do it to every song I played, but there were a few out there where it was really nice. I would also use the echo at the last song of the mix set. It kinda let people know that the set was over and I was going to a different genre. I miss my efx, and can't wait to get the NSFX...just me 2 cents.

That's it! I'm hating on kraal until I get an NSFX! It doesn't matter if he can rock the crowd hard. Doesn't matter if he can make great vids. Doesn't matter if we look up to him. I'm playa hatin' now... until I can echo echo echo e c h o . . .
