What Serato Box works with a 2018 MacBook Pro Touch Bar Mac?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro with a touch bar and my SL2 box does not work with my Mac.

Been going back and forth with Serato for a while to solve the problem but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone on here has a Serato box that works with the same Mac I have ?
ie SL3 or SL4?

My Mac works at home on my Rane 72 using Serato DJ pro, but I need a box for gigs of course.

Mojavie 10.14,5 is the OS

Any help would be massively appreciated

FWIW, I'm using the SL3 with a 2019 15 inch MacBook Pro, running macOS Mojave 10.14.6... zero issues with either Scratch Live or Serato DJ Pro 2.3.2... can't see why the 2018 wouldn't be able to replicate this scenario!

Looks like the SL3 is your best bet at this point

The SL2 simply just does not read or connect when I connect.

I have been using it for about two weeks at gigs for 4+ hour sets and haven't had any issues on my 2016 15 inch pro with Touch Bar. im running Catalina 10.15.3 and using the latest version of Serato DJ Pro. Pioneer DJM S9 with Technic 1200 Turntables

Denon has a box as well, DS1

I personally will not invest in any of the pre-InMusic Rane boxes.

Do you mean post? As the best ones are the original Rane ones and it they stopped support for them it would be ultimate fuck you to the customers

I'm running a 2019 mbp with mojave and an SL3 with zero issues. Don't forget to install the drivers if needed - www.rane.com

One thing you could look into are the issues newer Macs are having with audio devices due to the T2 chip.
