Hi all. I'm considering getting a V-4ex. but also, I'm sure it's really overkill for what I wanna do 99% of the time. I'll probably play stuff from MixEmergency and / or Serato Video mostly and very occasionally wanna stick a GoPro or a second laptop showing messages through the projector.

The lower price of the smaller Roland stuff appeals and the smaller size does too. But it's really hard to find much chat online about how they perform. Having so little to go on is practically making think "sod it" and just get a VGA switch for fifty bucks instead :/

I'm mostly concerned about latency I guess. But also slightly worried about the "unknown unknowns" that haven't even occurred to me haha. So if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them? It seems like almost all the threads on this kinda topic are very old...
