I'm not sure if this is going to be much of a discussion then a question. I just wanted to say that i think they should put mapping for the Numark NS7ii cause I know me and a few other dj's that have and use the ns7II.

It would be nice to get any support, at least the same as it was in the 0.9.075 version.
Even if the platter is not not working as motorized couse it sends a tremendous amount of midi data.
At leas as temporary till the errors are ironed out.

No idea why is this takes so long. These are loooong time serato supported hardwares.

@M.adaM supposedly there were bugs in the midi software or something but I agree it is very frustrating as it worked great in the 0.9 versions. I’ve asked for a “enable this hardware under your own risk” setting which was under consideration but I’ve not heard any further.

We’re currently working on confirming the next round of hardware that will be supported in Serato Studio.
Please keep an eye on our Using MIDI devices & Serato Studio compatible hardware article (support.serato.com) for any future developments.

@Phil C
Any news on when next round of hardware will be available? NS7/NS7II/NS7III users are probably awaiting their turn.

Hey Jeremowo,
Sorry nothing more I can share at the moment - the motorized platters add a bit of a challenge to supporting this range but it is a challenge we'd like to try solve.

It would be nice if these would be supported only with the motor off, if the motorized platter makes problem to the dev. team.
Really can't see why this could not be made in a few days.
And whenever the motorized function is solved, it could be supported 100%, but at least let us users get it WITHOUT motor functions (it could be coded in, so the motor doesn't starts at all under S.Studio, only a warning on the screen why is this happens)
With this: we are happy (and our mouth is shut), you have time to sole things, and we can give valuable feedback for these units and any found bugs, that can help you a lot.

What i care the most is if there is a plan for NS7 lineup to get supported.I mean the dj controller with the mpc pads should compatible with a dj production software,it's just natural.I get that it might be tougher,but is Serato into guaruanteeing the compatibility with this unit?
Also is there any chance that companies like akai and alesis will start doing themselves the mapping for serato studio or is serato alone in this one?
