I'm running an older HP i7 Envy dv7.

For years it's been sold mixing both audio and video from and external hard drive.

Just recently added a 2nd internal Seagate drive 5tb.

Audio still plays great.

But... Now i'm having a problem playing video files. They'll play great for a while and then I'll have one randomly drop out for a few secs. If i reload the track it plays great.
Sometimes I can play for an hour with no problem..some times only a few minutes.

Is their a hard drive setting i should check?
Is the hard drive to big?

Any ideas?
