DDj-SR2 ground post question

The ground post on my DDJ-SR2 doesn't appear to want to screw all the way down and won't "pinch" my turntable ground wires. Is this normal...?

**I should note I am doing it by hand. I could probably use a screw driver but I don't want to force it and break something.

Great question. However I did not have this problem my t-tables are internally grounded.

@ 1:45 shows how to properly ground. It’s in Japanese but you get the idea as there’s a clear view. Unless your Phono grounds are wider this may be an issue w/connection. But it’s pretty straight forward
