PLX-1000 Mods (Specifically LED Platters)

Since the PLX-1000 has been out for a while now, has anyone been able to properly modify it?

I bought a pair of the orbital LEDs from Ice Cold Customs (the platter LED lights) and I can't seem to find a way to get them properly hooked up. The area underneath the platter is super compact and it doesn't look like there's room to mount the strips. I don't wanna make any cuts to the panels and risk ruining a $700 tt, but I feel like there's gotta be an easier way.

sell them and get the denon ones that are already lit if you're afraid of modding yours

I want the denon tables because of the led ring. But I would rather have tek 12s.
