DVS vinyl question

Hi guys,just a (stupid?) question about control vinyl,i saw many video of Rekordbox users using Serato control vinyl,so i supposed that Rb and Serato vinyl are compatible and i can use Rb vinyl in SDj without problems?Thanks!

like putting petrol in your diesel car it will work but you will have varied results as their tone is slightly different, it will work but tracking could be an issue

The recordbox tone won't have Serato's patented Noisemap, so a bunch of stuff is potentially not going to work as intended.

Relative mode should work ok for directional control (although no guarantees on reliability)
I wouldn't expect ABS to work at all.

there's a ton of sticker drift if you use serato control vinyl
