Transferring Crates to a new MAC - Crates only visible on external HD

Hi, I've recently got a new MAC and I transferred all the Serato files and Music files using an external HD, over to the the Music folder directly in the MAC.

Initially, the crates are visible, but once I disconnect the external HD, the crates disappears. It seems that Serato is looking for the files in the external HD but no in the Music folder. How do I change that?

you need to copy your _serato_ folder over to the mac in the music folder

Thanks for the reply.

I copied the _Serato_ and the _Serato_Backup folder over to the root drive.

When I open Serato DJ all the crates are visible, but when I disconnect the External HD it dissapears.

When opening up the "location" tab in Serato DJ while the external drive is connected, it shows that it's retrieving the information from the external.

I've tried copying the _Serato_ and the _Serato_Backup folder multiple times and always have the same results.

because ur music isnt physically in the _serato_ folders. Just the name of the tracks it finds on the external. The music files themselves are on the external. U hav to copy the whole external to your internal hd
