From the billboard article:

" Just like Beatport, Beatsource will include an online a la carte download store as well as a Beatsource LINK subscription option that allows music to be played directly into performance software and stored offline using the company's proprietary locker technology."

Sounds like the same problem as pulselocker... “stored offline” = not a download. Hard pass on that time bomb.
