I have the Odyssey with the shelf. I thought i wasn't going to like it at first because of size. I definitely love it now! I've used it for a couple of gigs and it is awesome, the shelf is big enough for 2 laptops (different types of music) and the bottom with the keyboard shelf is awesome because it gives room to put things other than a keyboard.

They are out there, but call up local places and you'll be surprised that they may have one in stock or can order one for ya...
Good luck on the hunt!

I actually have the Odyssey NS7 case as well it's the FZGSNS7W but since they were out of the Black Label version I got the OG black and silver. I also when a head and placed my order for the black label one which will be arriving early next month. You guys should check out this cases the glide tray is perfect for my Mac pro and my EFX500 and I also just realized that it comes completly off as well in case you don't want to use it and use the NS7 stand or when I want to use my New collapsible LSTANDM from Odyssey as well.

I also have the Odyssey NS7 case and I love it. The NS7 fits nice and snug in the heavily padded case. The case also allows plenty of ventilation under the NS7 and behind where the fans are located.

I have the silver glide Odyssey case. I bought it new off eBay for $260 shipped, and the seller I used was great at getting it to me quick. That's the best price I've found and they are definitely in stock. Here's their auction, just make an offer for $260 if you want it: cgi.ebay.com
The cheapest I found the black one for was $325, and honestly it seemed like a lot of money to pay for powder coating. I'm actually thinking it might be a fun weekend project to paint the silver aluminum candy red. Will go nice with those translucent red NS7 vinyls Numark just released.
Anyways, my impressions of the case: Definitely heavy-duty (as in it weighs almost 100lb with the NS7 inside), and a pain in the ass to lift up yourself because the only two handles are on the far sides. The rollers on one end work fine, so long as you're not rolling it farther than from the back of your car to the booth.
The glide shelf is nice and wide, and has a lip in the front to keep your laptop from slipping onto the NS7. It feels more stable than the NS7's built-in stand, but on the other hand the shelf makes it harder to access the loop and crate controls on the top of the NS7 because it covers them. You can push it back farther, but then you lose some stability. Naturally, you could always just slide the shelf off and use the NS7 stand if you wanted to - but you do need to have the shelf attached for transport as it provides extra padding for the NS7 up top when the case is closed.
The bottom keyboard tray is made for the way overpriced $100 (and generally not needed with the NS7) Odyssey SL2 keyboard, and doesn't see much use from me.
The construction of the case is decent - I think it can definitely take a good amount of abuse, but it's not going to win any beauty pageants. It looks like someone with a fair amount of skill made it in their garage.
My biggest gripe with the case is that the opening on the back isn't wide enough for all the cables. I don't think it's even possible to connect the NS7 to XLR inputs while it's inside the case. Even my RCA cables require a bit of fidgeting to connect. This a major issue for a case, and one that I didn't expect to encounter.
Overall I'd say that for well under $300 this is a solid case that will serve you well so long as you understand its limitations and are willing to take the NS7 out of it if you'll be using XLR inputs. In any case, it doesn't seem like there are any true alternatives - and you definitely don't want to transport this baby naked.

maestromind, I own the same case and I have to say, your review is fairly well on. It makes the NS7 heavy but, I just paid too much money for my NS7 not to have full protection. I slide the the shelf back so i can access the knobs and buttons without any issues. I found the shelf to be strong enough to hold a MacBook, a 12" PowerBook, and iPod, and 160 Gig HD all at once, I recently DJed a wedding reception where that was necessary.
I actually use XLR inputs in the case, it does take some fidgeting but doable, i agree, it's a flaw to not have that cut so it's easier to plug XLRs into the NS7.

I was checking out all the cases, I do know you can remove the sliding tray from the Odyssey version but after seeing the road ready case that has the keyboard tray but open design I decided to go for it instead.
I have the Odyssey mini backlit keyboard, so that is what I would use with my NS7 for inputtng searches, etc.

Finally got my case for my NS7. I was able to get a good deal on the Numark on so i went with that one. i will right a review on the case after i use in the field just to seen if i find any cons, because right now there's is none also the case is made so that all the cords can go straight out without bending them.
