SL4 + Serato DJ best OS ?

So I have a 13" Macbook Pro 2012 .... 2.9ghz and 16 Gig of Ram.

What is the best OS to make this work at its best. I have another Macbook with the same specs but i have it on OSX Yosemite and I use Serato Scratch Live which I personnelly still think it sounds way better than Serato DJ in my opinion. But I do like the features of Serato DJ.

I use CDJ 2000 nexus mark 2 and DJM900 nexus in all my gigs and they are all club gigs so big sound systems with 500 to 800 people in the room. I have a pioneer DDJ SR2 for pub gigs if i need it.

So in your opinion what OSX are you guys using with your Rane Boxes ?

I am still rockin Yosemite with my 2012 as well.

I do sometimes miss some of the options in newer macOS, but I just won't jeopardize how well my setup currently runs.

Is it an SL4 box you are using?

I used an SL3 and 4 with it for years, have since sold them when I got rid of my CDJs.
