Karaoke Advice?!

So, I'm an Event DJ (prefer that term to mobile!). I often get asked for karaoke and while it's not something I'm particularly keen to specialise in, it would be useful to have as an option.
I know Serato has the capabilities to do this, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive guide or very much information online regarding Serato as a Karaoke software.
Assuming I need the video expansion pack and a separate monitor of some kind to run via HDMI from my Macbook. I have a few controllers but mostly use the NS6ii these days. The NS6 has two mic inputs so again, making the assumption I can just go straight into that. Any tips or pointers from people already doing similar would be greatly appreciated.

There's software called kjams which would appear to be the best alternative for a mac user. I'd just prefer to use Serato as an all in one solution but not sure if it's a bit too bare bones for professional purposes?

Has anyone have virtual Dj and Serato in one laptop but just using one or the other. Not at the same time. Any issues having both?

I sometimes receive customer requests for karaoke. The issue that I run in to is having the songs available to play. As you probably already know, karaoke files take up allot of storage space. So I ask around and a friend of mine turned me on to "KaraFun". Check them out at www.karafun.com. The fees are reasonable and all the songs you can handle. I use the app on my MacBook pro and it works great. Good Luck!

I’ll co-sign them as well. Cheap and super easy to use but make sure you have internet access where ever your needing it.
