Hi Serato,

Everyone is waiting for a pre-listening feature of tracks in the library, it's in Virtual DJ, MIxxx etc. Why can't it be in such widely use software like Serato? Can you give us the reason?

It's been many years lot of people are asking for this. It's really useful when you play live and want to pre-listen a track to be sure it fits to be the next one very quickly instead before preloading it into another deck and waiting waveform to be displayed takes longer. Not everyone wants to prepare everything upfront to play at a gig, that would be boring and actually go against the concept of DJing.

Now we waited enough just do it!

No need for this. I'm totally OK with loading the Tracks Into a Deck to prelisten.

If You prelisten directly from libary You will need a certain Deck aswell. Maybe You dont have to Fully load it into a Deck but youll have to Reserve 1 Deck for prelistening all the time.

No need for Sync, no need for BPM analysis, no need for Key analysis, no need for waveforms, etc., etc., etc..

A library prelisten feature is just another tool, as the above are. Ad it to the software - use it or not.
