I record audio into Sound Forge & clean it up (remove hiss, EQ, etc.), while also setting up loop & slice markers.

I chop in Sound Forge, because I can quickly zoom in & add small fade in/outs, remove clicks/pops, etc.

I'm suggesting a feature, similar to FL Studio's SliceX plugin, where Serato Sample would be able to automatically load slice markers, made in Sound Forge (or other editors) & then have these markers be automatically map to our keyboard or pad machines.
