My Dear Serato Friends & Family,

Come hither and feast your eyes upon my new computer.

I recently received my brand new 2018 MacBook Pro 15" with Touch bar in the following configuration:

2.9 Ghz i9
32 GB 2400Mhz DDR4 Memory
4TB SSD Storage

"More power, more performance, more pro".

I sure feel like a real DJ Pro now, glad that I no longer have to worry about internal storage again. Serato DJ has been running like a dream.

Just for fun I opened up Logic, Final Cut Pro, Serato, Streamed a movie from Netflix, opened up iTunes and made sure it was playing, quicktime, MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and the GoPro app. Serato still ran amazing with zero hiccups.

I highly recommend the above configuration for anyone experiencing issues with Serato and their old Mac/ Windows PC trash.

i went cheap and got the lower end one i7 16ram 512ssd 2.6... it is a beast no screen glitches

I would have opted for the 500ssd config if I was in the market.

Then buy a 4TB SSD external storage and that's only necessary if you do videos or only use Lossless.

Why would I prefer external over internal...for ease of using any other machine at short notice. If someone nicks the laptop with 4TB or a punter spills Beer on it.

Ya well a week worth of work I believe is worth the cost of the machine. It should hold true and relevant for a few years.
