I just bought an old mac and I was surprised by the way it goes with the latest update of sdj

Macbook.pro early 2011
I5 2.3 ghz
Intel graphics 3000 512mb
8gb ram ddr3 1600
SSD 750 evo
Yosemite

I have same macbook but with 500gb owc ssd,im still on mountain lion and sdj 1.9.2 and like i said before im too paranoid to upgrade any further till i get a newer mac.But you are on yosemite and i dont have that option only el cap.

I stayed with the 2012, I took out the CD player, I added another SSD, I put 8GB of RAM and very well with Yosemite Patece that goes well with SDJ Pro 2.0.3, apart I have another laptop with an i7 6700πŸ‘

I have an 2011 with El Capitan and Serato Dj 1.9 works great, I also took out the CD and put in a 1TB SSD.

I have the late 2011 I5. I had tons of issue after I upgrade to High Sierra. I went back to Yosemite and had no issues after that. I cleaned my mac fan also.

is that for macbook pro with an i5 the best is yosemite or mavericks is more fluid to work with seraro dj

I only can talk for the Yosemite OS setup. It is very stable. #knockOnWood
