Ok, I am old school but just wondering if the crowd would have gave him more respect if he were playing on "Big Boy DJ decks" instead of that tiny controller.

Clueless patrons imho vs the size of a controller. Hell, they'd be bumping into him even more if he was going back and forth between TTs and a mixer in the middle.

The amount of posering in that video is what’s fucked with the dance music world. Kay’s one of the ppl really pushing things forward and he’s still subject to it. Pathetic.

producer/'djs' are the worst.

i saw him play in san diego a few years ago and he couldnt mix his own tracks.

i saw him play in san diego a few years ago and he couldnt mix his own tracks.

tbh he does kinda do a j dilla, snare slightly off beat thing with some of his production, but still no reason to completely 'shoes in the dryer' mix
