the "Automatically track discussions" option doesn't wanna stay off. i tried to disable it a couple of times but everytime i hit save it's back again.

Thanks for the report - I've been able to reproduce this bug on my end. I've filed a bug report in our bug tracking system, so hopefully this can get resolved.
